I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in marital and family therapy, from Azusa Pacific University in 2004. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington. Being licensed means that in addition to completing a masters degree, I also completed 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience and passed two licensing exams.
I have been in private practice since 2007. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked at a non-profit community mental health clinic in southern California. I also worked at Azusa Pacific University’s Child and Family Development Center and at a private psychiatric hospital in Pasadena, California.
I primarily work with individuals who are experiencing relationship problems due to depression, anxiety, insecurity, co-dependency, mistrust, childhood trauma, infidelity, or poor communication. I also work with people in the midst of separation or divorce who are struggling to find closure, struggling to cope with their feelings of grief and loss, or struggling to move forward in life without their significant other.
